10.     DETERMINATION  OF  MERIT /  RANK  AS  PER  RULE  4                 OF  CET-2006

               ADMISSION RULES
                       (A)    DETERMINATION OF MERIT:

               The merits of  the  candidates  who  appear  for  the  Common  Entrance  Test–2019 will  be
               determined are detailed below:

                                                     On  the  basis  of  marks  obtained by  candidates  in  Physics,

                     Engineering / Technology
                2                                    2019 and  the  marks  obtained  by  candidates  in  Physics,
                     (B.E. / B.Tech)
                                                     Chemistry  and  Mathematics  subjects  in  the  Qualifying
                                                     Examination, taken in equal proportions.
                     B.Sc. (Agriculture),
                     B.Sc. (Forestry),
                     B.Sc.(Sericulture),
                     B.Tech. Biotechnology,          Based  on  the  performance  of  the  candidates  in  Physics,
                     B.Sc.(Horticulture),            Chemistry,  Mathematics and Biology subjects in both Common
                     B.Sc., Community Science
                3    B.Tech.(Food Technology),       Entrance  Test  and  the  Qualifying  Examination  by  taking  the
                     B.Tech.(Dairy Technology),      marks in equal proportions, common rank list will be prepared
                     B.F.Sc (Bachelor of Fisheries Science)
                     B.Tech. (Food Science &Tech.),  and published separately for admission to these courses.
                     B.Sc. (Ag. Marketing and Co-
                     operation)

                     B. Tech (Agriculture Engineering)
                                                     On the basis of marks obtained by candidates in Physics,
                     Bachelor of Veterinary Science  Chemistry  and  Biology  subjects  taken  together  in  the
                4    and Animal Husbandry            Common  Entrance  Test – 2019.  The B.V.Sc  &  A.H.  rank
                     (B.V. Sc. & A.H.)               list will be prepared and published for admission to B.V.Sc.
                                                     & A.H. courses.
                                                     On  the  basis  of  performance  of  the  candidates  in  Physics,
                                                     Chemistry  and    Biology  subjects  or  Physics,  Chemistry  and
                5    B-Pharm                         Mathematics  subjects    i.e.,  PCB or  PCM  marks    whichever  is
                                                     highest   in Common Entrance Test 2019. Common rank list will
                                                     be prepared and published separately for admission to B-Pharm.
                                                     On  the  basis  of  performance  of  the  candidates  in  Physics,
                                                     Chemistry  and    Biology subjects  or  Physics,  Chemistry  and
