Expeditions (over 5900 Mtrs), Sailing Expeditions using wind power only (401
KMs), Motor Cycle Expeditions (more than 3500 KMs) and Cycling Expeditions
(more than 1500 KMs), launch camp for Republic Day Camp (RDC), Thal Sainik
Camp (TSC), Nau Sainik Camp (NSC) or Vayu Sainik Camp (VSC) held at the DTE
level or having participated in any of the under mentioned centrally organized
camp of DG NCC organised by DG, NCC / NCC Director of Karnataka & Goa.
(iv) Candidates who have participated in the following camps / courses conducted
by the Director General of NCC, New Delhi from Karnataka and who possess
‘B’ Certificate obtained during the five-year period of study in Karnataka
between 8th and 12th standards namely: (a) NIC ; (b) Trekking ; (c)
Mountaineering ; (d) BLC ; (e) ALC ; (f) RCTC and (g) Army, Navy, Air Force &
Hospital Attachments (h) IMA / OTA, AF Stn, Naval Academy, Indian Naval or
Coast Guard Ship or (i) any other attachment camp based on vacancies issued
by DG, NCC (j) Mountaineering, Para Basic, SSB Screening or any other DG NCC
organized course and adventure camps.
(v) Candidates who possess “B” certificate obtained during the five-year period of
study in Karnataka between 8th and 12th Standards.
Provided that, for selection of a reserved seat under NCC category, candidates shall be
considered in the following order of preference,-
Candidate possessing NCC ‘B’ Certificate and adjudged All India
Best Cadet with Gold/ Silver/ Bronze Medal in Republic Day Camp
Preference 1:
held at New Delhi or having scaled Mount Everest as part of DG
NCC Team.
Candidate possessing NCC ‘B’ Certificate and having been selected
for Youth Exchange Programme (YEP) organised by DG NCC or
Preference 2: having obtained Gold/ Silver/ Bronze Medal in the team events in
Republic Day Camp held at New Delhi.

Candidate possessing NCC ‘B’ Certificate and having participated in
Preference 3: the Republic Day Camp held at New Delhi as part of the Karnataka
and Goa contingent.
Candidate possessing NCC ‘B’ Certificate and having been awarded
individual medal for All India ‘Best Cadet’ with Gold/ Silver/ Bronze
Medal in All India Nau Sainik Camp, All India Vayu Sainik Camp, All
India Thal Sainik Camp (Boys/ Girls), All India Shooting Camps (GV
Movlankar, National Shooting Championship Competition (NSCC)
Preference 4: or any other All India Shooting Competition organised by DGNCC),
NCC National Games as part of Karnataka and Goa Directorate
contingent or having been selected by DGNCC to participate in any
Naval Cruise on-board India Naval Ships or Coast Guard Ships or
having scaled the Mountaineering Peaks (above 5500 meters)
other than Mount Everest, as part of DG NCC Team.
Candidate possessing NCC ‘B’ Certificate and having obtained
Gold/ Silver/ Bronze Medal in any Team Events in the Camp
mentioned in Preference 4 above or in Sailing Regatta organized by
Preference 5:
DG NCC or having sailed for more than 401 Kms (By using wind
power only) as part of the Dte team.
Candidate possessing NCC ‘B’ Certificate and having attended All
India Thal Sainik Camp (Boys / Girls), All India Nau Sainik Camp, All
India Vayu Sainik Camp, All India Shooting Camps (GV Mavlankar,
Preference 6:
NSCC or any other All India Shooting Camp organised by DGNCC),
NCC National Games as part of Karnataka and Goa Directorate
contingent or in Sailing Regatta organized by DG NCC.
