 While the attorney position may be more heavily

regulated than that of the paralegal, ethical

obligations trickle down and affect the work

performed by the paralegal

 One of the most important ethical obligations of a

paralegal is the requirement that you never offer

legal advice. This may sound simple in theory, but in

practice can be tempting once you are familiar with

a legal topic and you feel qualified to answer a

client’s questions

 This rule, however, is a hard and fast one which

may never be violated under any circumstances
