Welcome to the CD-ROM for Complete Guide to Size Specification and Technical Design,
Second Edition.

This CD-ROM contains the following, which is to be used with the text of Complete Guide to
Size Specification and Technical Design, Second Edition:

Specification sheets from the book saved in Microsoft© Word format so that you can fill
in your own measurements. Spec sheets are separated into folders that correspond to the
chapters in the text. (In addition to being embedded in the Word files, art from each spec
sheet can be found in a folder “spec_sheet_art.”) Spec sheets are included for the
following garments:

The basic garment croquis from Appendix A saved in jpeg format. They may be used as a
guide for illustrating garments under evaluation. Adjust, alter, or combine the croquis as
needed. Then add the appropriate measurement arrows, fill in the points of measure, and
import them into the technical sketch section of your spec sheet.

How to use this CD-ROM:

Save the files from the CD-ROM to your desktop before you work on them. This CD-ROM is
compatible with both PC and Mac platforms.
