Technology Education Labs
Through Clear Creek ISD’s intermediate school technology education courses,
students will not only gain technical skills, but they will also gain the soft skills
needed for success in today’s society. The courses are fundamentally based
on the principles of exploration, collaboration, innovation, creation, and
self-direction. These skills can be applied across multiple disciplines. Should
students go through these programs and decide to continue education
related directly to course content, there are many advanced education “The intermediate Robotics and AV Production

technology. Enrollment in these courses has grown

Education
Clear Horizons Early College High School
Clear Horizons Early College High School was established in 2007 on the
campus of San Jacinto College South and provides opportunities to student
populations who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education
environments. Clear Horizons enables and encourages high school students to
be first generation college students and helps them develop the necessary
learning skills to succeed in both their high school and college courses. Clear
Horizons students graduate from San Jacinto College South with an associate
degree as well as a high school diploma from CCISD. At the November board “Clear Horizons is able to provide college tuition,
books, and fees to over 440 students each year
meeting, CCEF awarded $60,000 for the 2017-2018 school year which will be due, in part, to the generosity of the Clear Creek

Achieving National Board Certification is the one thing
National Board Teacher Certification a classroom teacher can do to hone and grow in their craft
and still remain in the classroom. Everyone in the current
cohort loves teaching and wants to stay in the classroom.
However, we also want to continue growing and earning
CCEF encourages and underwrites exceptional teachers to achieve the the respect that comes with advancing in a career. As a
highest and most rigorous standards set by the U.S. Department of classroom teacher, I have advanced as far as I can unless

Building the Brookside Bulldogs
The Clear Creek Education Foundation funded $22,500 to Brookside
Intermediate to assist with instructional needs after Hurricane Harvey
left significant damage to their campus. CCEF was proud to be able to
meet this need and help keep these students and teachers Bulldog
Strong.
