2018 Annual Campaign
The Clear Creek Education Foundation kicked off its 2018 campaign at its annual Community
Partnership Breakfast on Friday, October 20 at Challenger Columbia Stadium with more than
300 community leaders, educators, board members and volunteers in attendance. From
robotics and audio-visual production to engineering and steel drums, CCEF funds a wide array
of hands-on, innovative learning opportunities for students that were showcased during the
breakfast. Clear Creek High School’s LyondellBasell Solar Car, CCISD’s Robot “Ruckus” and the
“Steelin’ Cats” Steel Drum Band from League City Intermediate all greeted guests outside with
high energy and fun! Executive Director, Kaci Hanson, and CCEF Chair elect, Jill Reason,
welcomed the crowd while student leaders from the “Leader in Me” program at Falcon Pass
Elementary, Druhmi Shah and Cayden Stathakos emceed the event. Mattress Mack and
CCEF multi-year grant winner Miriam Bailey concluded the program by inspiring everyone
on the importance of giving back and leaving a legacy that will make someone else’s
future brighter. CCEF would also like to thank the generous sponsors Houston Methodist St.
John Hospital and Green Bank who supported the event!
