EMERGENCY
EVACUATION TECHNIQUE
Evacuation technique : is the immediate and urgent movement of people away
from the threat or actual occurrence of a hazard.
• Stay calm and follow the floor fire warden instruction (yellow vest).
• Vacate the area by the nearest emergency exit – staircase.
• Do not stop to collect your personal belongings.
• Do not use the elevator.
• Take the stairways and Hold handrail.
• Remove shoes with high heels. Use FLAT shoes to prevent from slips, trips & fall.
• Do not call control room – it’s the floor fire warden duty.
• If assistance is required, inform the floor fire warden or floor security guard.
• Assemble at the designated assembly point (zone).
• Await further instruction from assembly point controller.
• Do not re-enter the building unless “All Clear” is announced.
• Do not attempt to move your car.
