Carol Toles The last two years have been incredibly hard for everyone. We at the
Athenaeum have done our best to be available to you, safely here, and
Docents online if you are not nearby. With vigilance we did not close during 2021.
Patricia Anderson We’ve been here for you whether you live in St. Johnsbury or haven’t
Alice Burnham

Ewa Seiler In her remarks Board Chair Wynne Browne talks about our 150th
Alice Wuertele anniversary year in 2021 and some of our ongoing projects. I will add that
we can’t wait to have you join us for live events this year. There will be
readings, talks, an honorary event, and a gala gathering in the fall. Music,
too.
We list the names of everyone who supports us because we want to say
thank you, thank you, thank you! Thanks to you we can be open six days
per week, we can thrill little children with songs and stories, we can buy
thousands of books, DVDs, periodicals, and downloadable content. Last
year we added the video streaming service Kanopy. We can buy
materials for our book club with the Northeast Kingdom Audubon
Society. We can partner with the St. Johnsbury School summer program.
We can keep this beautiful building humming and showcase the best little
gallery in Vermont.
We look forward to seeing you and hearing from you. Let the good times
roll!
