Some buildings look unusual but they are real.
THE CROOKED HOUSE
The Crooked House was built in 2004. It is part of
the popular Rezydent Shopping Centre in Poland.
This building was designed by Szotynscy Zaleski
(zo-tin-sey za-len-ski). He was a Polish architect. It is
designed to look like fairytale illustrations. This house
has colourful glass entrances and sandstone-
framed windows which make the building unique.
The roof is designed to look like a dragon.
RIPLEY’S BUILDING
The Ripley’s building is also known as the Branson
Museum. It is located in Canada. It was built
to reflect the 1812 Missouri earthquake. The
cracks are the unique features of the structure.
It gives the impression that it has just survived an
earthquake.
