Watching a Bumble Bee

Out in the garden
you will see
the oh-so-busy
bumble bee. It gathers nectar
all day long,
It never stops to and hums an oh-so-buzzy
take a rest. song.
It wears an oh-so-hairy
vest. While you watch from your
garden seat
When flowers, in summer, the bee makes honey
open wide oh-so-sweet.
the bee dives oh-so-deep
inside. Then off it zigzags
in a tizz
with an oh-so-busy
buzzy
whizz

Things you need
• bubble wrap • yellow paint • scissors • a piece of thick paper • coloured pencils

Colour the bubble Cut the bubble Paste the bubble Decorate the
wrap with yellow wrap in the shape wrap on a piece paper as
paint. of a bee hive. of paper. you wish.

Recite and perform the poem.
