In October we were thrilled to welcome Bradford based SBS
Roofing to our prospering brand as part of our ongoing business
growth in an exciting new acquisition.
Speaking about the new addition to the Avonside brand, Avonside’s Group Managing Director,
Tony Burke said: “We are delighted to be able to announce the SBS Roofing acquisition as a further
acceleration of our Group’s expansion plans. It forms part of our strategy of targeting high quality and
growing operations, of which SBS most definitely is.”
Speaking on behalf of SBS, Managing Director, Phil Redfearn said: “We see the acquisition by the
Avonside Group as a real opportunity to continue to expand our business model within the framework
of an ambitious and high-performance culture.”
SBS Roofing are a successful Commercial and Residential Roofing business with over a decade’s
worth of valuable industry experience behind them.
With CHAS and RECC accreditations amongst others, being NFRC Health & Safety Gold Winners

ROOFING TO THE GROUP IN AN EXCITING NEW ACQUISITION
IN EARLY SEPTEMBER.

Taylor Roofing, run by experienced and skilled Managing Director, Simon
Taylor specialise in first-class residential roofing.
Announcing the acquisition, our Managing Director, Tony Burke said: “We are absolutely
delighted to be able to announce that Taylor Roofing are now part of the Avonside Group.”
He added: “Simon Taylor and his team have built up a fantastic business in the East Midlands
that perfectly mirrors the Avonside profile, and we look forward to working with Simon to continue
the upward trajectory his business has achieved.”
Speaking about the acquisition, Simon stated: “We have been in discussions with the Avonside
Group for some time, and we believe that being part of the Group will allow us to take the Taylor
operation to the next level.”
