jay Devgn and Kajol have lent their

support to various social causes.

AKajol supports the Help A Child Reach

5 campaign. The organisation generates

awareness about the importance of washing

hands with soap to prevent deaths among

kids below the age of five. On the other hand,

Ajay Devgn last year became the goodwill

ambassador for Smile Foundation. The NGO
supports girl education and works towards

women empowerment.

Now the power couple is all set to come

together to champion the cause of plastic ban

in Maharashtra. A close source to a tabloid

revealed that both Ajay Devgn and Kajol are

environmentally conscious and are very happy
to lend their support for such an initiative. The

source even added that the two will likely even

meet Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra

Fadnavis for the same.

The stay on the ban of plastic bags in

Maharashtra will end on June 23. After this, any

person found using plastic will be imposed fine.

Ajay Devgn and Kajol are likely to attend an

exhibition on June 22 which has been organised
by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. The

event aims to find an alternative to plastic bags.
