Listen and comprehend

Your teacher will read out the text. Listen
carefully. While listening, draw the route map.

One day I came out of my home. It was a fine morning. As

I was going towards my boat, I was surprised to see the footprint
of a man on the sand. I stood amazed! I listened; I looked around
me. I could neither hear nor see anything. I went up the hill to
look down, but I could see nothing. I came down the hill back to
my boat. I went up the shore and down again to my boat, but it
was no good. I went into the woods and came out of the woods
from the West. I once again went up the hill and down again

but I could find no other footprint but that one. I went to have
a look at the footprint again to tell if it had been my imagination.
