• To form the SIMPLE PAST TENSE: pt
构成简单过去式：pt

‘Pt’ such as gave or took is used for an action that happened in the past, with time
words or phrases like yesterday, last night, a week ago, just now, one afternoon,
etc.

pt 如 gave 和 took 用来表示过去发生的事情，会出现的时间词或短语有
yesterday（昨天）、last night（昨晚）、a week ago（一周前）、just now
（刚才）、one afternoon（一个下午）等等。

Jack decorated the playroom just now.
Ahmad went to the swimming club yesterday.
She was only a cleaner two years ago.
