Science India Forum - Bahrain
Since the inception in 2012, Science India Forum Bahrain has been
motivating children to learn science. It is evident from the fact that
this year there is almost 100% increase in student participation
in the Sastra Pratibha Contest compared to last year to win the
prestigious ‘Sastra Pratibha’ title. The contest not only tests the
students’ learning potential but also is envisaged to develop a
scientific attitude. While remembering that developing a scientific
temper is one of the fundamental duties of the individual, it
certainly is an attitude involving the application of logic, observing
physical reality, testing, analyzing and communicating.
Winners of the Sastra Pratibha Contest are given opportunities
to interact with eminent scientists from various fields. This year,
Dr.Manoj Kumar Patairiya, Scientist ‘G’, Department of Science
and Technology, India has kindly consented for the interactive
session with the students during the “Meet the Scientist”
programme.

were accompanied by their parents. During this trip, other
research establishments of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and
DRDO were also visited.
We proudly present you our yearbook "Scientech 2014-15" with
informative articles and photographs of our previous events. On
the occasion of the ‘Award Ceremony 2014’, I welcome all our
esteemed guests and the young science talents. I thank all our
sponsors, school coordinators, teachers, parents and Science
India Forum volunteers for their relentless support in the noble
mission.
