On the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in 2019, the nation aims to provide a
germane tribute to the father of nation by attaining utmost sanitation of the entire country.
This dedicated pledge, serve as an exhortation to the entire nation, a clarion call for a mass
movement for cleanliness. An inspiration for people to join the cleanliness drive, ushering
in a sense of responsibility among citizens is equally important as educating the children
as well as inducing development streams. For a country aiming towards global emergence
as superpower, her own internal cleanliness was equally important as her technological
and infrastructural advancements.
Digital India
India, which is becoming increasingly digital, will soon witness reduced dependency on
foreign vendors for providing navigation based on satellite systems, which will eventually
cease and create self-sustained toughness. Already select smart phones are receiving
NAVIC signals. Soon all Indian handsets will be compatible with the aid of chipsets, which
makes the concept of Indian entrepreneurs making a marked use of Indian signals rather

The surging ahead of our satellite communication system will aid citizens while navigating
routes during road journeys, increase competence of operation of transportation sector,

the growth in nuclear technology, space technology and defense technology. Being one of
our core competencies it will be a wealth generator as well. India is also tapping the role
of technology in tele-education, tele-medicine and e-governance to promote education in
remote areas and healthcare.
Enhancing tourism and ensuring growth of small scale sectors, for a developed India
are the areas of focus with other development plans. With the induction of technological
