To Serve the Light…

In addition to choosing your first alliance, Randvi will recommend that you build the Hidden Ones Bureau in your
settlement. This will allow you to begin tracking down members of the Order of Ancients, opening up new quest
lines. While not yet a requirement, it is recommended that you heed Randvi’s advice and build the Hidden Ones Bu-
reau as soon as you’re able to. This will cost you 400 Supplies and 30 Raw Materials. If you’re running low, look
for treasure chests throughout the landscape. The most profitable will be found in large settlements and religious
sites, such as monasteries.

Tip
Once you’ve built the Hidden Ones Bureau, you should begin tracking and killing members of the Order of the An-
cients as soon as possible. Killing them will gain you favor among the locals, allowing you to form alliances more
easily.
After building the Hidden Ones Bureau, Hytham will thank you profusely. He will then offer you a gift, in the form
of a… teaching. Follow him south over the river, and then up the hill. Once you reach the cliff edge, perform the
leap of faith to incorporate it into your arsenal of skills. Follow Hytham back to the settlement, where you’ll be in-
formed about how to find clues to the location of members of the Order of Ancients.

Whenever you kill a member of the Order of Ancients, be sure to bring any Order Medallions and codex pages back
to Hytham at the Hidden Ones Bureau. In return, you will receive rewards in the form of special abilities or cosmet-
ics.
