PDS goes live with celebrity host Ms. Cory Quirino on
DZMM Teleradyo’s morning talk show
“Ma-BEAUTY Po Naman”!

t was a full house in the broadcasting booth
of DZMM Teleradyo’s “Ma-BEAUTY Po
INaman” on the Sunday morning of July 14,
2019. Hosted by known beauty and wellness
guru Ms. Cory Quirino, the esteemed guests
were our very own PDS President Dr. Peachy
Paz-Lao, DOH Undersecretary and current
FDA-OIC Dr. Eric Domingo, along with yours
truly in the capacity as head of our PDS joint
committees on Truth in commercial product
advertising and Safe and competent practice of
dermatology.
Much of the hour centered significantly on the
higher risk versus benefit of the intravenous
administration of glutathione for aesthetic
purposes. The joint stand of the PDS and DOH
on the absolute prohibition of IV glutathione
administration for any indication other than
as an adjunct to chemotherapy treatment was
reiterated to the general public.
