the big event of the year in the southwest region was the
       september inspections on monday september 26. I was at
       sfo to welcome our two Irish Inspectors charlotte anne
moore and george chapman. they had a 6-hour flight from cin-
cinnati to san francisco via chicago after completing the central
region inspections in ohio. they arrived a bit weary but chip-
per and in good spirits. It was a 92 mile, mostly uneventful drive
through rush hour traffic from the Bay area east to the central

valley town of modesto. I say uneventful except for our lunch early

                                                                      quantitative and qualitative approach to the inspection process,
                                                                      certainly it was much different than the inspection my mare claire
                                                                      (aka the rovers lady claire) attended in 2008. overall it was a
                                                                      learning experience for me, and a number of others in attendance.
