➢In which condition do a feather and coin dropped from the same height fall at the same
speed?
A feather and coin dropped from the same height fall at the same speed during the freefall.
➢A large stone of 20 kg and a small stone of 5 kg are dropped simultaneously from a
certain height. Which one will reach the ground first, why?
Both the stones, large ( i.e..20kg ) and small ( i.e. 5kg ) reach simultaneously on the ground
because same acceleration is produced in both stones during their fall towards earth surface
since, acceleration due to gravity is independent to mass.
➢Why, an iron ball and a feather fall together in a vacuum?
An iron ball and a feather fall together in vacuum because there is absence of air. So, due to
the lack of air resistance, every falling objects fall freely on vacuum, with the acceleration
equal to the acceleration due to gravity on the earth.
