เรื่องที่ 4 โครงสราง Reported Speech

Reported speech หรอื Indirect Speech คือคาํ พดู ที่นําเอาไปพดู ตอ ซึง่ อาจมีวธิ กี ารพูด
ได 2 วิธี คือ

1. การพูดโดยยกเอาคําพดู จริง ๆ ของผูพูดไปเลาใหฟ ง ทง้ั หมดโดยไมเปล่ียนแปลง
เรียกวา Direct Speech

เชน Tomas said, "I like English." ขอ ความวา "I like English. " เปน Direct Speech
2. การพดู โดยนาํ คาํ พูดของผอู ื่นมาดัดแปลงเปนคําพูดของผเู ลา เอง เรียกวา Reported
Speech หรือ Indirect Speech เชน Tomas said (that) he liked English.

Reported Speech มี 3 แบบใหญ ๆ คอื
1. Indirect Speech หรอื Reported Statement (บอกเลาและปฏิเสธ)
2. Indirect Speech หรือ Reported Request and Command (ขอรอ งและคําส่ัง)
3. Indirect Speech หรือ Reported Questions (คาํ ถาม)

1. Indirect Speech หรอื Reported Statement (บอกเลา และปฏเิ สธ)
1. ถากริยานาํ เปนปจ จบุ นั (Present) ไมตองเปลย่ี นแปลง Tense ใน Indirect Speech เชน
Direct Speech : Tomas says, "I like English."
Indirect Speech : Tomas says (that) he likes English .
