2. Indirect Speech หรอื Reported Request and Command (ขอรอ งและคําสงั่ )
ตวั อยา งการเปลีย่ นประโยคขอรอง ขออนญุ าต หรอื คาํ สง่ั (Request or Command)
เปน Indirect Speech
Direct Speech : She said, "Please don't make loud noise."
Indirect Speech : She told me not to make loud noise.
Direct Speech : The master said to the servant, "Bring me a glass of water."
Indirect Speech : The master told the servant to bring him a glass of water.
Direct Speech : He said to the soldiers, "Stand still."
Indirect Speech : He commanded the soldiers to stand still.

3. Indirect Speech หรอื Reported Questions (คําถาม)
ตัวอยา งการเปลีย่ นประโยคคําถาม (Question) เปน Indirect Speech
Direct Speech : They asked, "Can we leave now?"
Indirect Speech : They asked if they could leave then.
Direct Speech : He said to me, "Does Joey like Thai food?"
Indirect Speech : He asked me whether Joey liked Thai food.

ประโยคคําถามท่ขี ้นึ ตน ดว ย Question words (Wh - Questions)
เปลี่ยนเปน Reported Speech

Direct Speech : They asked, "Who can speak English?"
Indirect Speech : They asked who could speak English.
Direct Speech : She said to me, "When will Joey go to Japan?"
Indirect Speech : She asked me when Joey would go to Japan.
