Kadaran ialah suatu hubungan yang menyatakan kesamaan antara dua nisbah atau dua kadar. Kadaran diungkapkan
dalam bentuk pecahan.
Proportion is a relationship that states the similarity between two ratios or two rates. Proportion is expressed in the form of fraction.

Mr Henry bought 3 pairs of sports shoes for RM270 whereas Mr Hector bought 5 pairs of 3 pairs = 5 pairs
sports shoes for RM450.

1. Suriani menggunakan 4 keping kertas berwarna untuk membuat 2 ekor burung 4 keping = 10 keping
origami dan 10 keping kertas berwarna untuk membuat 5 ekor burung origami. 2 ekor 5 ekor
Suriani uses 4 pieces of coloured paper to make 2 origami birds and 10 pieces of coloured 4 pieces 10 pieces
paper to make 5 origami birds. 2 birds = 5 birds

2. Kos penggunaan tenaga elektrik sebanyak 80 kWj (kilowatt-jam) ialah RM17.44 = RM26.16
RM17.44 manakala kos penggunaan tenaga elektrik sebanyak 120 kWj ialah 80 kWj 120 kWj

Kos bagi 1 helai kemeja-T = RM45 Kos bagi 1 biji bola = RM15
Cost of 1 T-shirt 3 Cost of 1 ball 10
= RM15 = RM1.50
Kos bagi 8 helai kemeja-T Kos bagi 50 biji bola = 50 × RM1.50
Cost of 8 T-shirts = 8 × RM15 Cost of 50 balls
