Holiday Memories

When I was on holiday I sailed across the ocean,
I went to Timbuktu, I drove a Greyhound bus,
I wrestled with a jaguar I rode across the desert
And boxed a kangaroo. On a hippopotamus.

I journeyed into jungles, I heard a mermaid singing,
I swam the deepest sea, I fought a killer shark,

I climbed the highest mountain I grappled with a Grizzly,
And a monkey puzzle tree. In a wild Safari Park

And chatted to a seagull, I chased a band of pirates
I met a big baboon, Completely round the bend
I floated on a moonbeam And now the summer’s over
Until I reached the moon And so is this – THE END.

I visited the planets,
I lit up all the stars,
I gossiped to a parrot June Crebbin
Travelling to Mars.
