                  Hi,
How’re you getting with the school project on eating right with balanced and
nutritious meals? Talking about meals, I’d like to let you know that in my family
having meals together is not a routine. We eat at our own time and do not see
family members until the weekends. I feel I have to mention this because Mrs. Kang
emphasised having family meals is a good routine. Does your family have meals
together all the time? Is it a rule? A must?
Hoping to hear from you soon.
                  Niena

meals together is a routine. When it is dinner time and if we’re late, we’ll be in hot soup. Mother
insists that we have dinner together every Wednesday, Friday and weekends. No excuses
                unless it is an emergency!
Mother sets the rule because family meals strengthen familial bonds and inculcate
healthy eating habits. It is quality family time when we exchange ideas and stories while having
a balanced meal. We really enjoy our meals together. We do see eye to eye with mother’s
