arnab apabila arnab itu memakan rumput. Menganalisis TP 4
Observe the energy flow above and complete the passage below about the energy obtained by the rabbit when it eats the grass.

Rumput menukarkan tenaga cahaya daripada Matahari kepada tenaga kimia melalui
proses fotosintesis. Tenaga kimia dalam rumput akan dipindahkan kepada arnab apabila arnab
memakan rumput itu. Sebahagian tenaga digunakan untuk bergerak dan menjalankan proses hidup.
90 % tenaga daripada makanan akan hilang ke persekitaran semasa arnab melakukan
respirasi , perkumuhan dan penyahtinjaan .

Grass converts light energy from the Sun into chemical energy through photosynthesis. Chemical
energy in the grass will be transferred to the rabbit when the rabbit eats the grass. Some energy is used to move and carry out life
processes. 90 % of the energy from food will be lost to the surrounding when the rabbit carries out processes
such as respiration , excretion and defecation .

(c) Apabila harimau memakan arnab, adakah harimau mendapat semua tenaga yang diperoleh arnab
daripada rumput? Menilai TP 5
When the tiger eats the rabbit, does the tiger get all the energy that the rabbit gets from the grass?

Tidak . Harimau hanya peroleh 10 % daripada tenaga yang arnab dapat daripada
rumput kerana 90% daripada tenaga tersebut telah hilang daripada badan arnab ke persekitaran.

No . The tiger only obtains 10 % of the energy that the rabbit gets from the grass because 90% of
the energy has been lost from the rabbit’s body to the surrounding.
