                          Causing the movement of water and mineral ions continuously to the other parts of the plant so that photosynthesis can occur.
                      –   Molekul air yang tersejat ke atmosfera menyerap tenaga haba daripada daun. Keadaan ini
                          memberikan kesan penyejukan kepada tumbuhan.

                          Water molecules that evaporate to the atmosphere absorb the heat energy from the leaves. This condition gives the cooling effect
                          to the plant.

                2.  Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kadar transpirasi.   SP 2.3.2      TP1
                  Factors that affect the rate of transpiration.
                  (a)  Apakah faktor yang mempengaruhi kadar transpirasi?
                      Keamatan cahaya, suhu, pergerakan udara, kelembapan relatif udara

                      Light intensity, temperature, air movement, relative air humidity

                  (b)  Huraikan bagaimana suhu mempengaruhi kadar transpirasi.   TP2
                      Describe how temperature affects the rate of transpiration.
                      –   Semakin meningkat suhu, tenaga kinetik antara molekul air bertambah
                          As temperature increases, the kinetic energy between the water molecules increases

                      –   Kadar penyejatan air daripada permukaan daun juga meningkat
                          The rate of water evaporation from the leaf surface also increases
                      –   Lebih banyak wap air meresap keluar melalui stoma

                          More water vapour diffuses out through stoma
