The loss of water molecules occurs through X, which is the stoma, and through Y, which is the cuticle layer, through evaporation.

Give two importance of process M to plants.
– Menyebabkan pergerakan air dan ion mineral secara berterusan ke semua bahagian tumbuhan
supaya fotosintesis boleh berlaku.
Causing the movement of water and mineral ions continuously to the other parts of the plant so that photosynthesis can occur.

– Molekul air yang tersejat ke atmosfera menyerap tenaga haba daripada daun. Keadaan ini
memberikan kesan penyejukan kepada tumbuhan.

Water molecules that evaporate to the atmosphere absorb the heat energy from the leaves. This condition gives the cooling effect
to the plant.
