Tanisha : What can we do to keep our neighbourhood clean? There is always a pile of

rubbish in the corner of the football f eld.

Kumar : We could ask the council to place recycling bins around our neighbourhood.

Wee Ping : Good idea. This way people will not litter and they will practise recycling too.

Kumar : We can also organise regular gotong-royong sessions to clean up the rubbish.

in the football f eld attracts disease-carrying pests to our neighbourhood and

rubbish in drains will pollute the rivers, they will stop littering.
