               Did you know that our Dean, Dr. Marcia Tate Arunga, is the author of a children?s
               book? The Stolen Ones and How They Were Missed is the story of Nia, a girl who was
               stolen from her African home.The story focuses on how she was missed by her
               family and village. Beautifully illustrated by Isaiah Townsend, the book reminds us of
               the importance of maintaining and reestablishing connection to our roots. Check out
               this link to a conversation between Dr. Tate Arunga and Ms. Sisi of Black Talk Radio
               Network. Dr. Tate Arunga discusses how to talk to children about Black lives being
               stolen from their homeland. They also discuss Dr. Tate Arunga?s time as a Black
               Panther member serving along with Elmer and Aaron Dixon in the Seattle Chapter.
