Pressure Test

• Establishes the gas-tight integrity

of totally encapsulating Level A

chemical suits

• Performed on each suit produced

during manufacturing and tested

annually thereafter by end user

• A suit is inflated with air to a

specified pressure and the

pressure drop is measured over

time. A minimum allowable
pressure constitutes pass/fail

during the test
