LOCAL CULTURAL STUDIES

Pupils of today are visual learners and a field trip allows
them to touch, feel, and listen to what they’re learning,
which helps them build on classroom instruction,
gain a better understanding of topics, build cultural
understanding and tolerance as well as expose them
to the world outside.Our Year 2 and Year 4 pupils
benefitted a lot from the LCS School trip this term.
Year 2 went to a wellness center where they learnt
more about Saudi culture through Arabic calligraphy,
traditional dances and cooking activity. Year 4 explored
historic Jeddah by having a walking tour of Balad that
combined history, heritage and arts for students.
