PREP SCHOOL PRODUCTION

Mulan

This year Prep School pupils took their peers, parents
and teachers on an unforgettable journey to Ancient
China!

It is with tons of gratitude, more than the avalanche
that the Huns were buried beneath, that we look
back upon the last four months during which we
have worked so very hard to make this yet another
successful musical for Jeddah Prep. As teachers we
are grateful that we were given the opportunity to
express ourselves creatively while giving our children
the opportunity to showcase their talent and hopefully
discover a love for the performing arts.The four
months long process started with choosing a show,
obtaining the performance licence and scheduling
auditions. After the first stage was completed,
rehearsals with our amazing, newly-selected cast
started and carried on non-stop while our costumes
were designed, made, fitted and altered. At the same
time our Junior Hall was turned into a set fit for a
professional production in a world class theatre!

With their exceptional singing voices and acting skills
our cast have, as we expected, finally done us proud.
The sacrifices that they have made by rehearsing three
afternoons a week for the whole of the second term has
paid off and during our three performances they were
shining like true Broadway stars!
