We have made it to the end of an academic year more
challenging than any of us could have ever foreseen
when the pandemic began. We started the year online
and then the wonderful news was shared far and wide
that we could all return to school physically!

This year has been a year of fests for our KS1 pupils.
When it comes to how to perform to a live audience for
parents and staff, there is no guidebook to follow for
our youngest pupils due to a two year hiatus caused by
the pandemic. I commend all KS1 pupils for the perse-
verance you have shown. You truly embody our JPGS
values of being responsible, engaged, and—above
all—resilience.

I thank all KS1 staff for the guidance and support you
have provided to our pupils, not to mention the engag-
ing tasks and activities planned for our pupils to enrich
their learning experiences.

Lastly, a huge thank you to the parents/carers of our
KS1 pupils for your continuous support and effort and
for taking an active role in your child’s educational de-
velopment.

Your teachers are so proud of your achievements.
