SOUTH SECONDARY ACCESS ROAD EAST APRON WORK
T he construction of the SAR has been completed. The
rectification of identified snags is currently under way.
Development of landscape across the driveway is going at
a brisk pace. The operational trials will commence shortly.
The construction of the first phase of 17 aircraft parking stands is
nearing completion. Inspection of the area is under way for
MAIN ACCESS ROAD EXPANSION commissioning and is expected to be converted to airside access
WORK – PHASE 1 shortly. Meanwhile, work on Taxiway B2 and the connections to
Taxiway A will be done as airside work. Training for the teams
involved has started as a part of familiarisation process.
Operational trials for Phase 1, as a part of the ORAT process, is
under way to ascertain the readiness of these stands.
RAIN WATER HARVESTING POND #4
In order to achieve BIAL’s plan of ‘net zero’ water usage and to
