to Separate Rubbish from Next Year
he Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry announced
Tthat from 2015 all Malaysian households will have to separate their waste
according to categories. In a statement, its minister noted that household waste
will be separated into several categories including plastic, paper, cardboard,
glass, metal, food waste, and farm waste. “The implementation of this rule is a
part of the government’s effort to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills,”
he said.
