City Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning has been keeping you in your comfort zone since 1902,
and while current leaders Carey and Michael Ross weren·t around in the very beginning, they are
absolutely dedicated to continuing the remarkable tradition launched by their grandfather, Amil
Mashke, and their father, Edgar Ross.

It's an interesting look back on a family that has made a huge impact on Michigan·s Great
Southwest over 117 years. In the beginning, they worked extensively in the new construction trades on
many major projects across the region. Today, they continue to offer Design & Build services,

Energy Management programs, Proprietary Commercial Maintenance Agreements and the
continuation of professional services into the residential homes of this community.

It·s a third-generation business that still builds trust on a daily basis, but Carey and Mike each
have two sons, putting them potentially on course to a fourth generation of keeping Southwest
Michigan in their comfort zone. The recent additions of Carey Jr. and Casey Ross to the team are

a great start to the fourth consecutive generation.
