Let us Learn to Honour our Women

A woman is the most beautiful creation of God. She is mild, sweet and caring. When she is happy, she flows like a river and soothes the hearts of people by
quenching the thirst of humanity with her love and affection. But she becomes furious when defamed and she erupts like a volcano by destroying the
civilization. One cannot survive unless one learns to show respect to her. Nature and its beauty can be compared to a woman as we also treat the Earth as
the mother symbolically. But by showing disrespect to our women, we are dishonouring our creator.

We should never forget the fact that what we are sowing today (seeds of disrespect towards women) is the future guide for others to follow tomorrow.
By degrading the modesty of the very women, who is considered to be the source from whom God created us all, we demean the very raise that we
belong to.

Mother, Ma, Maman, Mom, Sister, Wife, Friend whatever the name we give her, the very word is the most beautiful word among all words. Though always
loving and tolerant to the core, she becomes furious when the crimes are committed against women. When a crime is committed against any woman by
anyone, we should punish them immediately and severely. Why should we let a criminal go scot-free just because he is a juvenile? Once a criminal he
remains a criminal all his life. However, the victim is facing social stigma as if she has asked for it. This idea is yet to be groomed, as the woman is always
being blamed. The predators of the present generation are roaming around proudly, looking for a chance to pounce once again. It's sad that we drive the
case for years together in the name of law and finally declare the mastermind as a juvenile. Why should we show mercy by refering him to a reformatory
school? How will that act help mankind? Since he is a criminal having a criminal mindset, he might pounce upon another victim once released from prison.

Remember a woman could be mild by nature but she has the strength to hold the strings for not letting anything go hayward. No country can flourish unless
it learns to respect its women. We should never forget the fact that major wars broke out for defaming the modesty of a woman.
I thank God for creating me as a woman. Even great philosophers have said that no country can be called “civilised” unless one shows respect to a
women. The atrocities that are taking place has to come to an end or else slowly but surely we are going to become animals with no heart at all.
