Angela Mesquita of Brasil Remittance

Each season, we like to feature the story of one of
our long-standing sponsors. This year, we’ve chosen to
tell you a little bit more about Angela Mesquita whose
company, Brasil Remittance, fi lled a desperate void in the
fi nancial services industry for the many Brazilians who
emigrated to Toronto in the late 80’s. The success of her
company is directly related to the integrity of the woman
who runs it.

Angela Mesquita is a proud Canadian, mother of
three and successful businesswoman in the Davenport
Community. Since arriving in Canada from Brazil in 1987,
Angela has established herself as an integral part of the
Brazilian Community in Toronto through her business,
Brasil Remittance. Over the years, Angela has used her
infl uence in the community to help immigrants overcome
the many obstacles that come with transitioning to a new
environment and settling in Canada. Angela is very ac-
