Chapter 1

Introduction

This chapter [?] explains the constituent of atom where
the neutron and other particles are contained. This is
a fundamental of atomic structure [?]. Furthermore,
various type of sources of neutron also discussed in
this chapter.

1.1 Atom

Rutherford theory indicated that the atom consists of
electron cloud surround the nucleus, while nucleus con-
tains a number of proton and neutron. Bonding be-
tween the atoms exist in the form of forces such as;
covalent and ionic force, Van Der Wall force and po-
tential force. The atom is in normal state when the
interaction of the forces are balanced. On the other
