1. The object having extremely large neutron cap-
ture cross section such as Boron(B), Samarium
(Sm) dan Gadolinium (Gd) is suitable for mea-
surement.
2. Elements also devay very rapidly so not suitable
to be measured by DNAA.
3. Light elements because stable isotop only are
produced
4. Element which produced weak decay gamma-
ray intensities
Since the object and gauge volume is large, the dis-
tribution of element in 2D or 3D thought out the ob-
ject can be obtained. This is contrast with the sample
used in DNAA, where it is usually very tiny and can-
not be measured for 2D or 3D distribution of elements.
Exposure to neutron is longer in order to obtain high
resolution gamma spectrum data. Precaution shall be
made because the background reading may be high
since the measurement usually perform in the reactor
hall. Therefore, the area contains the detector should
be shielding perfectly.
DGNAA or NAA is widely implemented for deter-
mination of elements that produce radionuclies. The
NAA is flexible with regards to the measurement time,
where the high energy gamma of shot live radionuclie
decay completely will improves analysis of long live
