Abhipsa Pradhan shares her experience of her first day at a new
school. Read how she felt on her first day.

I think every student remembers their first day
at school. It gave me a terrible feeling of fear and

anxiety as I went to a new school. Actually, it was my
second school and I am talking about my going to
the new school in grade four.

I went to the school which was an unfamiliar place for

me. Teachers and students were all new. I felt quite
nervous. It had a big building with a large compound wall. The entire
school was calm but I was very afraid. At that time I remembered my
mom. I wanted to go home back.
