Read the following passage and do the activities.
Caren and Sharen
There was once a couple of girls, who
lived in this world. Their names were
Caren and Sharen. Caren was always
worried about her look, and what
people thought about her. And Caren
was always helping her, to feel good
about herself, by giving her nice clothes
to wear, fixing her makeup and doing
her hair.
See Sharen, didn’t feel good
about herself. While she was
growing up, her parents didn’t
have a great deal of money.
They were unhappy because
they were always trying to
make ends meet and pay bills.
Although they loved her, they
would only scold her of the
times she was bad. The parents
