4.1. Give means hand or provide. Know these phrases related
to give.
a. Give up : quit / abandon
Use : Give up the habit of biting your nail.
b. Give a damn : care / have an interest
Use : Don’t give a damn to what you don’t
need.
c. Give about : distribute/spread
Use : We will give about the message of
your birthday celebration.
d. Give ear : listen
Use : Please give ear to what your parents
say.
