Travelling the world on a
bicycle! Isn’t it amazing?
Definitely it is. It
becomes more amazing
when one does it for
peace and brotherhood
in the world and that too
at the stake of life. Only
the people with guts can
do it.
Pushkar Shah is such a man! He was born in 1973 and was
brought up in India. His father was a soldier in Gurkha
Regiment in India. So he completed his primary schooling
there. He, then came to Nepal and continued his study in
Makaibari, a village in Dolakha district where his family
belonged.
When he was in Kathmandu for his higher studies he
developed interest in politics. He was concerned about
peace, democracy and freedom. He participated in and saw
a great change in Nepalese politics in his early youth.
