Sauraha, Chitwan

September 26

Dear Bunu,

Today I am very happy that I wanted to share my happiness
with you. You know, I with my parents am in Sauraha right now.

We came here the day before yesterday and we are having great
times here. Since September 24 our fun has gone so high that

every of us has forgotten the home and duty.

On 24 we watched the Tharu Cultural Show where the Tharu
boys and girls performed their folk dances. The dance with a

torch in hand was scary but quite nice. Yesterday, we went to

watch the birds in the morning. Lots of birds with peacock,

the main attraction were seen. Then we went to the elephant

breeding centre where young elephants with their mothers

were kept and cared. There was also a wild elephant and the

caretakers warned us not to go too near of it.

Then in the afternoon we went for an elephant safari. We rode

on the elephant and entered into the jungle. We saw three

rhinos, a tiger, many deer, monkeys and birds. This was the first
