Inflammatory Response

• Inflammatory release of mediators increases adhesion molecules

on the epithelium and endothelial capillaries of the respiratory

tract

• Where it causes inflammatory cells such as eosinophils,

neutrophils, and basophils, to attach to the epithelium and

endothelium
