4. Oxygen therapy – using mask
/ nasal prong
• Give oxygen immediately
through a venturi mask
with a level of 6 - 8 litres /
min and monitor oxygen
saturation with a pulse
oximeter.
• To increase the rate of
oxygen capacity in the
blood.
