METERED-DOSE INHALER (MDI)
+ The advantage of using MDI with a ‘spacer’ is that it can
reduce deposition in the oropharynx and increase drug
delivery to the lungs.
+ This is because most of the large particles that are
normally deposited on the oropharynx will be trapped in
the spacer.
