               Definition of Bronchitis










          • Inflammation of the breathing tubes
             within the lungs (bronchial tubes or
             bronchi) as a result of an infection
             (viral or bacterial) or a chemical

             irritant (such as smoke or gastric
             acid reflux).





          • Person will end up with cough and
             mucus.
